FORUM will offer an ongoing series of short features by various authors on topics related to music and copyright. As head of the project, I presumed to write the first of these: a disparaging look at Aram Sinnreich's Mashed Up, and the regretable results when a writer who is neither a musician nor a lawyer attempts a book-length treatment of a thesis dealing with music and law.
To access the blog's features and comments simply select "Public Forum Blog" in the left margin of this page.
Readers, please contribute your thoughts on the materials posted in FORUM blog. While comments will be vetted by an administrator at UCLA Law School or myself, we will post all comments exactly as received as long as they are relevant to the site topic and do not contain offensive language or remarks.
This project involves one of the first blogs sponsored by UCLA Law School and, as such, its interface and appearance will be further developed over the next few months.
